Mathletics

We are using Mathletics as part of our weekly  maths programme.

Our log in details can be found in the front of homework books.

Mathletics aligns with the NZ Math Curriculum and gives the option to set activities based on the current topic that we are working on in class.

How It Works

Once you log in you come to the home screen.  On this screen you can see you daily points and down the bottom how many gold bars you have.  Each bar is earned by completing activities.

You will notice the blue bar activities.  Within each bar there are a number of topics. As you complete a section the bar on the right fills up.

When you click on a blue bar the next screen looks like the one below.
The green "Are you Ready" bar is like a pre test.  For each activity you can choose something easier or harder.  Once you start an activity you must finish it or it doesn't record your progress.

An important tip to remember is whenever you want to go back to a previous screen always use the GREEN ARROW button on the top right.  If you don't do this you will sign out each time and have to sign in again.

Helping Hand

On any activity you can receive help.  Click on the question mark above the characters head and you will get a mini lesson.

All parts of Mathletics can be read to you.  Just click on any words and they  change to a blue colour.  This is an important tip to support independence with an activity.

Rainforest Maths

Rainforest Maths on the right hand tool bar is a great option for those who may want to find some different activities.  Note that Rainforest Maths can not be accessed on an Ipad.

Have Fun!
