Amazing Cape

Here is our Room 3 "Night at the Races" cape.

What an amazing effort by the children of Room 3.  We wanted our cape to reflect that we are a BYOD class full of Smart Streamers.  We also took the element of shading and tones from our art focus and created our own designs.

Structures

Today in art we started to explore different buildings and the shapes that we could see.

You can view our presentation in our Inquiry Folder in our Google Docs.

There were quite a few interesting shapes and designs.  Ask us about what we liked.  Share your comments with us.

Smart Streamer

Here are a few examples of our Smart Streamer Posters.

We were able to present our ideas in what ever way we wanted.  Only some of us decided to do a poster.

This is what we think being a Smart Streamer is all about.

Read to Self

This term we have changed how we do reading after morning tea.  We now have our own folder of books that we have chosen.  We find a quiet place to sit and we READ READ and READ.  Some of us find some pretty small and quiet spots to read.

We can bring books from home to add to our reading bags.  Ask us about what we have been reading or what our favourite book.  Could share with us your favourite book when you were a 7 year old.
